Abstract

Agritourism has been growing strongly worldwide, contributing to the preservation of agricultural heritage while meeting tourists' needs for sightseeing, learning, and recreation. To date, a substantial body of research on agritourism has been conducted. However, there are very few studies that systematically review the literature on tourist behavior in agritourism. This study aims to fill this gap by synthesizing the research process on tourist behavior in agritourism, identifying prominent authors and works, and analyzing key research themes through thematic clustering. Using bibliometric analysis and the VOSViewer tool, the findings indicate that the first publication on tourist behavior in agritourism emerged in 2010. However, the number of new studies increased significantly in 2019 and has continued to attract scholarly attention in recent years. Nine research clusters on tourist behavior in agritourism were identified, highlighting key topics such as travel motivation, tourist experience, satisfaction, loyalty, and environmental factors. The study’s findings provide valuable insights for future research directions in the field of agritourism.
