Abstract
This study aims to identify the factors influencing students’ Volunteer motivation and to examine the mediating role of Volunteer motivation in the relationship between influencing factors and Self enhancement. Data was collected from a sample of 214 university students using a convenience sampling method. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 3 software. The findings indicate that the Expression of values; Career; Interpersonal all have a positive impact on students’ Volunteer motivation. Furthermore, Volunteer motivation exerts a strong positive impact on Self enhancement. In addition, the results reveal a statistically significant mediating effect of Volunteer motivation in the relationship between the influencing factors—namely, Values; Career; Interpersonal —and personal development. Based on these findings, several managerial implications are proposed to encourage greater student participation in volunteer activities.
