Findings – Results show that: (1) Authentic leadership has a positive effect on affective commitment and knowledge-sharing behavior; (2) Affective commitment and task interdependence positively influence knowledge-sharing behavior; (3) Task interdependence moderates the effect of affective commitment on knowledge-sharing behavior.
Originality/value – This stuty integrated authentic leadership, affective commitment, and task interdependence by SET and SIT to explain knowledge-sharing behavior in higher education institutions (HEIs)
