Publication Policy
1. Double-Blind Peer Review Policy
The Journal of Financial and Marketing Research adheres to a double-blind peer review process, consistent with international scientific journal standards.
Once an article is accepted for review, it is anonymized and categorized by research topic before being sent to expert reviewers. Reviewers are selected based on critical criteria, including expertise in the field and suitability for evaluating the specific research topic. Throughout the review process, the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
The peer review process for the Journal of Financial and Marketing Research consists of three fundamental stages:
- Stage 1 – Preliminary Screening
- Stage 2 – Peer Review
- Stage 3 – Final Approval for Publication
The peer review and publication process is illustrated by the following workflow diagram:

2. Publication Policy
Once an article is accepted for publication, it is forwarded to the editorial team for revisions related to language, formatting, and presentation. Authors may be asked to participate during this stage and will be notified of any significant changes to their article.
Publication Steps
Step 1 – Editing:
Necessary revisions are made to align with the Journal of Financial and Marketing Research’s standards for format, language, and presentation.
Step 2 – Article Formatting:
Editors format the article for the electronic version and verify for errors and plagiarism before archiving it for reference.
Step 3 – Proofreading the First Draft:
The article is printed, proofread by editors and editorial assistants, and prepared for layout design.
Step 4 – First Layout Review:
The layout team designs and formats the article according to the journal's formatting standards and produces the first layout draft. Editors and editorial assistants carefully review this draft. Essential article details such as the article's history, abstract, and keywords in English are placed appropriately. The reviewed first draft is then returned to the layout team.
Step 5 – Second Layout Review:
The layout team incorporates revisions and prints the second draft. Editors compare the first and second drafts to identify errors (if any). The editorial assistants recheck the second draft before returning it to the layout team.
Step 6 – Finalizing the Issue’s Table of Contents:
Once all articles are thoroughly reviewed and arranged, the editorial assistant and collaborators create a draft of the issue’s table of contents and paginate all articles (Third Draft). This draft is sent to the editorial board leadership and editorial assistant for approval. Any final adjustments are made before submission for printing.
Step 7 – Final Check:
After approval from the Editor-in-Chief, the third draft is forwarded to the layout team to generate the final PDF file. This file, along with the cover design (created by the editorial assistant), is sent to the printing house. Simultaneously, the finalized .doc/.docx version is sent to the journal’s administrative department for archiving.
Timeline for Stages
- Steps 2–5: Editorial Board completes these steps within 2 working days for each step.
- Steps 6–7: Layout team completes these steps within 1 working day for each step.
- Publication Preparation (Stage 4): This stage takes approximately 10 to 15 working days, starting from when the Editorial Board receives the approval notice for the article.
This structured and efficient process ensures the timely publication of articles while maintaining high standards.
